Thread: iNUKE NU-6000DSP power load test

  1. #21
    Hello Martin,
I have an EPX4000 that shuts down immediately as I try to go over 1300W/4Ohm, and using only 1 channel at 2Ohm the amplfier resists to some 3s "burst" at around 1150W before shutting down the same way... probably the power supply is internally sagging in this conditions.
There is a thread on this forum ...

Sorry a little error in the previous post... 1300/4Ohm are referred to brdige mode operations, while the 1 channel 2Ohm is intended for stereo Operation with one channel driven

I had bought both NU-6000DSP on the first live action, and one was still in protect mode. Played only 2 sec,and switch off, without connected speakers too.
For information, I had one for the left side, and second for right side.
    1.CH for bass, 2.CH for mid/high. Speakers was 4xBC 18TBX100 and M/H 2xBC 15ND151 - so normally boxes with speakers, not overload.
    I return this to seller.
NU series is not for profesionall use. I must use my old QSC amprack for show continue.

And, my father want register on this forum, but they have on email domain si.com (name@si.com), and administrator cancel him registrantion.

    Any problem?
