    Training Video

Are there plans for a Behringer produced (or at least endorsed) training video for the X32?

The webinars that I have seen seem to be focused on promotion & benefits and less on the nitty gritty of how it works.

I have Sonar X2 software and was able to buy a 9-hour training video from Cakewalk that is excellent. Something similar for the X32 would be a Godsend. It was the best $30 I've spent in a while.

My music workstation does not connect to the internets, so youtube videos aren't much good. Frankly, the lack of a decent manual or video has been a real disappointment. My MX9000 came with a fantastic manual and I was expecting the same here.

    Hi Buggaluggs,

Are you looking for a DVD? We currently don't have plans for one, but it is a possibility for the future.

There is an extensive manual that you can download in PDF form at the product page: http://www.behringer.com/x32 but without knowing exactly what you're looking for, it is difficult to point you in any specific direction. We will be happy to help with any specific questions you have.

Also, have you read our "Real Name" policy? You'll need to change your forum name to comply.

    Take care!

Where is the manual? I go to the X32 product page - downloads and I don't see it there.

Also, how do you change you username? I go to settings | Edit profile, but don't see a place to change the username.

Check the dropdown menu directly above the "Overview" Tab. Here's a direct link to the manual: http://www.behringer.com/assets/X32_M_EN.pdf

As for the username you would have to send a message to James Burns.

I downloaded the manual, printed it out and put it into a binder (I don't like reading manuals from a cpu or a smart phone, I think they belong on paper). The manual has left some things out that I can't figure out. For example how do you set up a stereo group buss? I looked in the manual and it only talks about groups for one paragraph on page 29. It only talks about what a group is and not how to properly set a group buss up. It tells you how to set up a DCA group but not a group buss, what's up with that?

You can link mix busses just as you can link channels, so the stereo thing shouldn't be that big of an issue. Regarding groups you can set up your mix busses globally in the Setup menu or for every mix bus in the Sends tab of every channel. Change the mix bus(ses) you would like to use to "subgroup".

    Hi Francisco.

    1. Select MIXBUS 1
    2. Go to Home->Config tab.
    3. Go to:
All Channels Send Pre Configuration. Select Sub Group
    4. Press LINK at the bottom of your screen.
    5. Select Sends On Faders, and UNMUTE the tracks you wish to group. Make sure that these tracks are NOT assigined to the STEREO BUS.
6 Press Sends On Faders again to return to mixing.

I hope that this is helpful to you.
