Multicom Pro limiter setting

I am trying to set up limiters for my mains and subs via a Multicom Pro. The manual does not give much in the way to set the limiting. I have voltage information for my amps and speakers. I am just not quite sure if I am actually setting up the limiting properly or not. I learned a costly lesson having to recone my subs due to my ignorance. I would really like to avoid having to do that again. Can anyone shed some light my way?

My apologies for taking so long to get back to you.

With the single control, you can set a "ceiling" on the audio material. Simply start with the knob in its full clockwise position and watch the "LIM" LED. Start lowering (turning counter-clockwise) the knob until you see the LIM LED start lighting. For heavy limiting (typically used as a distortion effect), lower the knob until you see the LIM LED light fairly often... for lighter limiting (peak elimination only), lower the knob until you see occassional illumination of the LIM LED. Too much limiting (e.g. turning the knob too far in the counter-clockwise direction) will result in audible distortion.
