sx32 home recording routing?

I recently purchased the sx3242fx mixing console, an upgrade from the XENYX X1204USB. I use Reaper to record onto my PC and with the X1204 this was easy - all I had to do was connect the mixing console to my PC via USB and i could record and playback.
As the sx3242 has no usb port, I also purchased a UCA202 audio converter and attempted to use this with the CD/ Tape In/Out on the mixer. This worked fine until trying to record - as all the recorded clips save on the computer, they also playback from the computer. The CD in on the mixer plays through the CD out and so I find am not only recording my current take, but also the click track and any previous takes. I cannot seem to find a way to solve this problem without sending the PC output into an AUX track which is only heard through headphones.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Dear Alex,

Connect from the RCA CD/TAPE outputs of the XENYX mixer, into the RCA inputs of the UCA200. The RCA output from the UCA200 will come back into the RCA CD/TAPE input of the XENYX mixer.

You will need to select the CD/TAPE to CTRL ROOM button so that the soundcard's signal will be routed away from the main mix to the CTRL ROOM output. You will want to connect the control room outputs to your power amp or powered speakers and control your monitoring level via the CTRL ROOM knob. You will be able to monitor through the speakers or the headphones.
