The Eurocable I selected with the Cat6 was $4.57/foot. They have another Eurocable with Cat5 that is about 5¢ less per foot.
I had Link put the NEMA, Ethercon, and XLR connectors on and they did a most excellent install with that as well as doing a 2' fan on the ends of the cable. Each of the individual leads coming out of the fan have a nice protective braided nylon sheath on them. You may be able to notice that in the photo.
Having Link do the connectors and the fan only slightly increased the cost to $5.00/foot.
The reel (AV HD260) is also excellent. It is a double drum design, so I have about 10' of the cable on the smaller drum that goes to the S16s. Having the double drum means that you don't have to unroll all of the cable just to get to the ends. You'll notice in the photo that there is a crank for the drum. It is removable and stores via two clips on the side of the reel. There is an adjustable drum brake on the other side of the reel. Four nice rubber feet keep the reel in place. Overall, it's a good value at only $381.96. I've seen comparable ones priced higher. I may build a small dolly for the reel to facilitate transport.
