If a P16-M is connected to the X32 Ultranet port is it powered from that port or does it also need its own wall-wart power supply?

A single p16 will be powered from the port. if daisy chaining more than one you will need to use the power adapters supplied.

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to clarify that the ULTRANET port on the X32 does not provide power, even to the first P16-M unit. Only the outputs on the P16-D hub or the P16-I interface will provide power to the first P16-M plugged into one of their outputs.
For this reason, many decide to use a P16-D Distribution Hub between the X32 and their P16-Ms, which provides powered outputs for 8 P16-Ms.
