Brand new Behringer Uphoria UMC204 pops and clicks on the input side above 44.1khz
I just got my replacement UMC204 thinking the old one I had was faulty but it's doing the same thing as the old one. At anything above 44.1khz sample rate I get pops and clicks on the input side. I should mention I'm using this on Linux as this seems to work perfectly fine at 44.1khz full duplex. I also tested this on Windows with the newest driver and it still pops and clicks at anything above 44.1khz. It almost seems that when I change sample rates with the software that it's not changing the capture side. When I mute the capture side via software it does go away but that's no good for what I need. Any help or insight would be appreciated.
Have you tried any other drivers, such as ASIO4ALL? I'd be curious to see if it still works the same way you're describing. Perhaps your buffer settings are too low if you're getting clicks and pops above 44.1. Did you speak with the CARE team when you got your replacement, or go through your retailer? If you haven't talked with them, that may be your best bet: firstname.lastname@example.org. Let us know how you fare. Thanks!
