    MS16 Operational Question

    Danny from Facebook asks:

    "Hi BEHRINGER,

I have your MS16's and a Sound Lab mini mixer. If I plug the mixer into one of the ports at the back the sound only comes through the left speaker, but I if I do the same into the mic port the sound comes out of both speakers. Why is this, many thanks?"

    Danny,

One of the MS16's acts as the "master" because it has all of the inputs, and powers the other speaker. If both speakers come on when connected to the mic input, we know its not a problem with the second speaker, or its cable.

It could be a problem with one of the RCA inputs. Try swapping the left and right cables to see if the opposite speaker comes on. If so, then luckily its just a bad cable, and not a problem with the RCA jacks on the MS16's. Try new cables!

If when swapping the left and right cables there is no change, then one of the RCA jacks on the back of the MS16's may not be working. In this case the best thing to do would be to contact us at care@music-group.com or 702.800.8290.
