You only need to load the most recent version of the firmware.
The X32 firmware can easily be updated by performing the following steps:
• Download the new console firmware from the X32 product page onto the root level of a USB thumb drive (FAT formatted).
• Plug the USB thumb drive into the top panel USB connector while the console is turned off
• Switch the console on. While booting, the X32 will run a fully automatic firmware update,
which will take 2-3 minutes longer than the regular boot sequence
A few very slow sticks might not get recognized during boot. If the update process does not take place, reboot the console while the thumb drive is attached and the console is powered up. This can be done by either changing the sample rate (on the setup page) or pressing the reset button (behind the small hole between the AES/EBU and MIDI OUT connectors on the rear of the console) with a needle or similar. Alternatively try another USB thumb drive.
