RV600 Reverb Machine

Anybody have any problems with Stomp Box / pedals not working at all?

I have RV600 that will not do anything. The LED light will not come on, no sound, nothing. If I use 9V battery instead of AC adapter, the batter gets very hot quickly. It is past warranty time so tech support was no help to me. I took it apart, checked for swollen caps, loose wires or connections, etc. but I don't see anything that jumps out at me.

It will cost me more than a new pedal to have a shop look at it, and I was wondering if anyone had a simplistic suggestion for something I might not have thought to check.

I have other Behringer equipment, (3 other pedals, XV-amp, Xenyx board, monitor speakers, microphone) and have not had problems with those.
