is possibile connect 8 microphone to firepower fca1616? and record 8 separatly track?

Hi behringer, excuse me for bad English ( i'm italian XD )
I'm very interested about behringer firepower fca 1616 ( i love you behringer <3). I read a brochure and some sites and i understand that fca1616 have only 4 mic preamp/input frontly. But in rear panel exist others 4 balanced input ( 5/L 6/R 7/L 8/R). Is possibile connect other 4 microphone, eventually with external preamps, in rear panel balanced input? and can i with these connection, recording 8 tracks separately?

Hello,

Yes, the FCA1616 has 4 mic preamps. The other 1/4" inputs on the back are only line level inputs. Yes, if you use external preamps, then you can connect to those 1/4" inputs, recording 8 total channels into the computer.

You can also use the ADA8000 or the upcoming ADA8200 for 8 additional Mic Inputs via ADAT.
