Thread: Flight case

i own one of the OSP cases noted in post #7.

the case is nicely built and not too heavy and i can't see why others will spend so much more $$ when this one is just fine.
after owning it for six months or so i noticed that the 5 rubber feet on the bottom of the X-32 sank into the case floor-mat foam a little bit and when the case was stored on its side or end you could feel the mixer 'wobble/wiggle' a little bit. i cut a piece of 1/4" plywood to fit on the bottom lid and now it's snug as a bug and the fan has plenty of clearance to breathe without cutting the foam or removing the mixer at shows.

I ordered one for my Compact from here: http://www.safecases.com/.
It's a a two week wait, but made in U.S., and lifetime warranty. Cost was $280 with shipping.

I bought one from Hybrid cases in Holbrook N.Y. $149 and it's perfect. It has the rails inside to keep it off the foam, it's light, and well built.

They are the ones selling on e-bay.
