    B115D vs B315D

Hi, i would like to buy a Pioneer DDJ-SX and some good active loudspeakers, I've noticed 2 good products with a good price.
    B315D and B115D.
    B315D is a newer model i guess, it's more expensive than B115D but it's "only" 550W PMPO.
The B115D seems to be older (i guess it from the name) but it's 1000W PMPO... and it's also cheaper.

    So i really don't understand.
If B115D it's more powerful why it costs less than the B315D?

What are the differences between them? (Prices and power apart)

    Hi
Actually the B115D is a newer model than the B315D.
    The B315D is 550 watts with a 1.75” titanium-diaphragm tweeter.
    The B115D is 1000 watts with a 1.35” aluminum-diaphragm.

I hope it helps with your speaker decision.

Oh tanx a lot, since the B115D starts with a 1 i thought is was an old model.
So it costs less because the diapgram.

Correct me if I'm wrong the B115D can do a louder sound than the B315D but it has mediocres high frequences comparing to the B315D?

    Renzo,

Watts are an important element of measurement, but more important is the efficiency of speakers.

I was looking recently with a friend into a sub for a band. A 700W (classD) ElectroVoice is rated at 134db (enough to kill you ears) when a 1400W (classD) Behringer is rated at 127db... that's less than 1/4th the actual sound level for twice the electrical power.

So, make sure you do compare all the data!
    -Patrick
