I did the same. I was never an Apple fan boy, but the iPad just works! I brought a s/h iPad1 for 150,- Euros and with deactivated mini-faders/meters it works really great with the X32.

I just notice this on my old IMB T60 (XP) notebook, but only with the meters. There is a build up in lag over the time, but the rest of the programm works like it should. Maybe it its a CPU thing....

Just use a shielded Cat6 cable for AES50 and connect your X32 and S16 to the same power circuit and you should be fine. At least that was what the head of Behringer R&D told me. Works perfect here....

AES50 needs both pairs. One pair for audio and one pair for the clocking.

It depends on your computer.
I get great results with:

1. lowest setting possible
2. between 128-256 samples for recording
3. don't care - I always use Asio

Some computers need a tweaked...

You can delay any of the 16 analog outs on the desk. Hit "routing"-->"analoge out"--> on the right side of the screen is your line delay.
