    I did the same. I was never an Apple fan boy, but the iPad just works! I brought a s/h iPad1 for 150,- Euros and with deactivated mini-faders/meters it works really great with the X32.

    Just use a shielded Cat6 cable for AES50 and connect your X32 and S16 to the same power circuit and you should be fine. At least that was what the head of Behringer R&D told me. Works perfect here....
