well, yes and no, Its always full function/free, but when you start it up it will nag at you to buy but never cripples your work in anyway, its worth buying but absolutely works w/o doing so.
Another great program is Reaper, fully functional nagware. Its very much worth buying but you can use all of its functions w/o doing so for a while.
