Analogue doesn't have latency (at least not so as you'd notice) long data cables can cause problems with dropouts but don't slow the signal down noticeably.
You're welcome! Well, the rack room isn't too far from the stage, so we just use long XLR cables to connect to it. Yeah, I'm not sure how much of an improvement
